Crystal and I are always on the lookout for great photography spots and locations in Virginia Beach, so we figured we’d talk about one of the best beaches in Virginia Beach where you can get a great beach photograph of just about anything.

Sandbridge is a thirty to forty minute drive from the Oceanfront and Croatan Beach and also boasts beach homes and condo rentals for tourists and provides a great get-away vacation during the summer season. It’s located along the Virginia Outer Banks providing a long stretch of beach with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s much larger than Croatan Beach and allows for more room during the crowded season.

What makes Sandbridge a more secluded area is first it’s about a half hour away from the main parts of the city. Second, there are not a lot of places for the public to park their vehicles except for public parking areas. Third, the main roads are very narrow, full of pedestrians, and hard for large vehicles to come through.

So unless you know of someone that owns a beach home, renting, or yourself an owner, then access to the more secluded areas of the beach might be a little difficult, unless of course you don’t mind a great deal of walking from one of the public parking areas that are located at both ends of the beach.

Also, if you haven’t driven down the main roads of Sandbridge, that includes Sandfiddler and Sandpiper Roads, you will notice that most if not all the beach homes have their own unique names. So if you’re down here visiting or just cruising by those two roads, take the time of reading those names and you’ll definitely get a kick out of it.
