Sandbridge Beach Family Portraits: Family Reunion
Almost a year ago were hired to photograph a beach family reunion at Sandbridge Beach. It was a beautiful sunny day at the beach and the weather conditions was just perfect to have their family beach photos taken!
The family comprised of 20 people came from New York and other parts of the country with some as as far away as California, have decided to have their family reunion at a beach house in Sandbridge Beach in Virginia Beach, VA.
Our portrait session started a few hours right before sunset beginning with the family group shots, then slowly breaking down into the individual family groups.
We then worked on various combination shots that included all the ladies of the family, then all the men, the grand kids, and then candid shots of the family at the beach.
By far, this is one of the largest groups of people we have photographed for portraits at Sandbridge Beach, so they do hold our current record for that 
They were fun, easy going, open minded, and very organized during their portrait session which made them easy to photograph during their session.
Near the end of the photo shoot, the family decided to have a few fun shots that included a huge family pyramid (on the first try), unfortunately a few of the younger kids were not able to climb up the pyramid before it collapsed, so we then attempted one more pyramid that included the few that missed out.
This beach family portrait session is definitely one to remember, not only because of how well things went, but the family being so welcoming and fun at the same time.
