Looking through all the weddings we have posted on our photo blog, it came to me as a surprise that I have not posted the actual slideshow of our first full-fledged official wedding ever! Dominique and Kilan’s peacock themed wedding held on September 27th, 2008.
We’ve posted their still shots and teasers on the blog, but have always linked their wedding slideshow on their custom built website www.septembertwentyseventh.com which we had done for them. So it’s about time that I’ve finally posted it on here
On November 7, 2009 we covered Ashley and Justin’s wedding held at The First Lady Victorian home in Suffolk, VA. Below is our photo slideshow teaser of their wedding.

On September 11, 2009 Amy and Joe celebrated their First Landing State Park Wedding in Virginia Beach, VA. We are pleased to show everyone their wedding slideshow below.
Our coverage began at Amy’s ‘getting ready’ location in the afternoon including photographing wedding details, the bride and bridesmaids getting ready. Next our team traveled to another location where Joe was getting ready with his groomsmen and photographed a few casual/posed shots. And finally a trip back to First Landing State Park where the wedding ceremony and reception was held.
On September 5th, 2009 we had the honor of photographing Joe and Alexis’ outdoor wedding held outdoors in South Courtyard and reception in The Huntington Room of the Mariners Museum in Newport News. We are pleased to share below their short version of their wedding slideshow!
After Joe and Alexis viewed the extended version of the slideshow, they wrote us back an email and here’s a snippet of their feedback:
“Once again you two have outdone yourselves! We absolutely love every, single picture that you took! They are simply breathtaking. You captured the day soooo beautifully. Joe and I were just sitting here looking at the (extended) slideshow, mouths open in amazement. We laughed, we cried, we reflected back on our day through your work. There was no need for a videographer. We re-lived every word and emotion just from those pictures. Thank you, thank you, thank you. “Michael and I were driving after the wedding and we were just talking. We were discussing how professional and awesome Mark and Crystal & the team were.
We also discussed how successful the photo booth was, everyone loved it! Everyone who attended the wedding said how fun the photo booth was and how great of an idea it was.
We did not notice Mark and the team at all, they weren’t in the way of the wedding. Michael and I were extremely pleased of all the results of the pictures and recommend them to everyone and anyone who needs professional photography. They were unbelievable! They will definitely be people we will grow with when we have future important events.

Yesterday, the Gamboa Photos team photographed Janel & Mike’s Wedding held at the Wyndham Hotel at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA. We also had ( as part of Janel & Mike’s wedding photography package ) our very popular add on, the on location wedding photo booth service.
It was operated by Ejay (booth photographer) and James ( booth technician ) while Crystal over-sighted the booth operations. The wedding guests were provided lots of props that they may use during their booth session as well as FREE prints on site, while at the same time we were making Janel & Mike’s scrapbook that was later given to them at the end of the wedding.
