On President’s Day we photographed newly designed t-shirts and merchandise by Taglish Tees. Filipino Fighting Arts Academy (FFAA, special thanks to Chief Instructor Brian ‘Spunk’ Trial) were kind enough to let us use their space during evening and we were able to successfully setup shop and photograph their new shirts and merchandise. Mike and Angelique from Taglish Tees gathered models to wear the new shirts for the shoot which included Jackie from our previous shoots, Maymar’s Brian Mayor, and even local dance crew YFAMD (Young Filipino American Modern Dancers of Virginia).

Gamboa Photos team member James Lewis provided behind the scenes video coverage for us to create a short video seen above. Make sure you click on the 720p setting on the youtube video to watch in HD! Hope you guys enjoy watching this behind the scenes clip, another version will be rolled out later on so keep coming to check our blog!

Here’s just a few of their new Filipino T-shirt designs and merchandise:

On September 5th, 2009 we had the  honor of photographing Joe and Alexis’ outdoor wedding held outdoors in South Courtyard and reception in The Huntington Room of the Mariners Museum in Newport News.  We are pleased to share below their short version of their wedding slideshow!

After Joe and Alexis viewed the extended version of the slideshow, they wrote us back an email and here’s a snippet of their feedback:

“Once again you two have outdone yourselves! We absolutely love every, single picture that you took! They are simply breathtaking. You captured the day soooo beautifully. Joe and I were just sitting here looking at the (extended) slideshow, mouths open in amazement. We laughed, we cried, we reflected back on our day through your work. There was no need for a videographer. We re-lived every word and emotion just from those pictures. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It was obvious that you took your time and meticulously chose each picture. Thank you for our memories. They were well worth the wait.” – With love, ~ The Wyatts :-)

Stepping out of his norm for the 2009 Virginia Fashion Week,  Brehon designed  and unraveled his boldly colorful spring and summer 2010 collection at the Virginia Fashion Show this past Friday.  He mixed his classic monochromatic style with colorful bold colors and used print fabrics to create his collection.

We were able to photograph 26 unique pieces in span of four hours for his Look Book with makeup and hair done by Desirai Tolbert with 4 models – Shaunda, Letitia, Rebekah, and Brandon.
