Several weeks ago we photographed Chelsea and Brad with their pet Sophie for their holiday portraits.
They were going to use the photos for their Christmas cards this season to send out to family and friends. Brad will also be deploying to Iraq and Chelsea wanted to get new photos done. This first photo has Chelsea and Brad with their pet Sophie.
“I was very happy to find Mark and Crystal and they were truly the perfect photographers for my family portrait. I have two little ones and one is just a baby. My older one is camera shy so you can imagine how hard it can be to get a good family portrait. On top of that, I had all this image and I was very specific about what kind of pictures I wanted. Although we had never met Mark and Crystal in person until the photo shoot, I found them very friendly and easy to work with, and they never “pressured” us to do anything- they were very patient with the kids as well and they really made us comfortable. Prior to the photo shoot, we exchanged numerous e-mails discussing what kind of family photos I was looking for and locations, and all that, and they were very understanding and willing to work with me, and they were also very helpful.
And oh boy, after I saw the retouched photos… they were just so perfect! They did an excellent job and my family truly appreciate their work. I already recommended them to several friends!”
We recently photographed Miho and her family at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens off of Shore Drive in Norfolk, VA.
We photographed them during noon within the surroundings of the Hermitage home were lush flower gardens and trails were easily accessible. The Hermitage provides a great backdrop with its lush well-kept gardens and greenery for any kind of photography.
Just this past Saturday we photographed the Larkins Family for their holiday and family portrait session. The last time we photographed them was a few months ago when they had their newborn Tristan.
We photographed them covering different looks and outfits, starting with their family holiday portraits, then photographing baby Tristan with his Santa hat on, and then finishing the session with a few couple portraits of Emily and Justin.
We have had a number of out-of-town families inquire about Sandbridge Beach family portraits this summer. The Pattons had rented out a house in Sandbridge for their family reunion.
We started off on the beach however since it was hurricane season the weather started becoming very unpredictable. We spent about half an hour outdoors before heading inside to resume the shoot with the grandparents and children.
We can’t wait until next year to take their family portraits again!
Just a month ago the reconstruction and renovation of Town Point Park in Downtown Norfolk, VA was finally competed. This particular part of Downtown Norfolk now boasts its fresh new look with the installation of a Water Fountain Park near the Waterside.
While we await the arrival of our clients for their on-location engagement photo shoot, we saw a young woman take her child to play by the Water Fountains.
