Just last week, Crystal and I were privileged to take photos of executives, engineers, and design team of Skanska USA Civil Southeast Inc. in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

We were pretty nervous at first, but at the same time very excited about this photo op.  What a great opportunity to be able to photograph corporate executives this particular part of a global construction company as well as to see corporate America at work. To be able to experience this corporate event was definitely one of great things that Crystal and I have been looking for, not only to add onto our portfolio but for our work to be published globally in their internal magazines.

With the help of their Human Resources personnel, we were able to get the executives’ head shots as well as access in their 2-story office to get the shots we needed to get the job done.  We also worked on a group shot involving all those that attended the meeting.

Crystal and I felt as if we were in some congressional hearing in D.C. where photographers would line up right in front of witnesses and as the hearing progressed all you hear in the background were the clicking noises of camera shutters going off.  During the meeting Crystal and tried to keep a very low-key profile while they continued on with their meeting.

We covered almost 4 hours of the meeting of which included the corporate headshots, 2 portions of the meeting, posed shots, and also a walk around of the 2-story office space.
